Martin West, Chairman
Martin West is an artist who has exhibited his works not only all over Sweden but also in other European countries. He has been a project leader at The National Public Art Council in Sweden, is a member of the Swedish Artists´ National Organization and member of The Swedish Artists´ Association.
Studied Human Ecology and Contemporary Social Problems and Psychology in Poland and Portugal. After completing her studies she has offered courses on international education and training-courses and schools of music, dance, drama and integral artistic education. From 2010 on, she has been the director of the Centre of Creative Education and Foundation: MIRORO, Gdynia in Poland and is currently preparing training course for art animators. She has been a jury member for several times before.
Manager of development of the City of Kalmar since 1999. Previous head of cultural department in the city of Kalmar, responsible for public purchase of art, participant in a big number of public art exhibitions, one-man exhibitions, newspaper and book illustrator, served as jury member in a number of public adornments. Head of Commission on Tourism in UBC.
Prof. Henriette Koblanck
Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Design at Linnaeus University. Her research and development has its focus on education and design methodology, her pedagogical work is about developing the assessment of artistic processes and project work. Her own projects in Design methodology have focused on methods designed to create possibilities for cooperation in cross-disciplinary groups.
Lecturer of tax law from 1979 to 1989. Worked as self-employed tax agent in Hamburg and Rostock from 1989 to 1998. Motivated by her own related interests, Petra Steeger has worked on art history and contemporary art for many years actively and passively for many years. From her work for the female artist foundation "Die Höge" and the House of Artists "Künstlerhaus Ahrenshoop e.V." she gained extensive practical experiences regarding jury work as well as regarding commercial administration of cultural institutions.
He got his diploma in painting/graphic design at the famous Dresden College of fine art. Worked in Berlin, Hamburg and London after his studies (DAAD-scholarship at the Royal College of Art, Print Department, supervised by Tim Mara, London). At the time being, he is the art director of the agency and gallery wolkenbank kunst+räume in Rostock.
Dr. Arch. Jakub Szczepanski
Chair of the Faculty of History of Architecture and Monuments Preservation of the Technical since 1988. He has worked at the Baltic Sea Culture Centre from 1995 to 2007 and has been and expert at Outdoor Gallery Competition (organized by Contemporary Art Centre Laznia in Gdansk), expert on revitalization of public space and urban development in projects by the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre since 2007.
