Partner characterization
Narvik University College is one of 26 State University Colleges in Norway which offers higher education through various study programmes. The number of students attending the NUC accounts for just above 1000 spread out on a number of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study programmes in the fields of engineering, health services and business management.Narvik is a town of approximately 20.000 inhabitants, and a remarkable combination of a thriving tourist town and a prominent high-technology centre of the northern Norway region. In spite of being situated along the the coast more than 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle Narvik has a unique climate and environment, with long fair summer nights and quite mild winters due to the Golf Stream.
