Partner characterization
City of Pori is the 10th largest city in Finland with its 75 900 inhabitants. The Environmental Office is a part of municipal administration in the city of Pori. The Environmental Office considers many legislative tasks like environmental permits, environmental controlling, environmental state monitoring, and natural protection and recreation. The Environmental Office prepares matters to the environmental board. The Environmental Office works also with many regional NGOs to raise the environmental awareness among citizens.The staff in the Environmental Office consists of an environmental director, planner, engineer, supervisors and a office secretary. The number of staff is now eight persons.
