Baltic Windenergy Association MV (BWA)

The Baltic Windenergy Association, located in Mecklenburg-Pommerania butoriented to Europe-wide networking, is a non-profit organisation that aims tosupport the idea and development of wind energy within the entire Baltic SeaRegion.

Most of the members have worked in the wind-energy-field for many years,dealing with the research & development or planning of wind energy convertersas well as with the promotion of wind energy as a renewable source and a way ofenvironmental protection. Other members joined the association to gainexperiences about wind energy themselves. The association works mainly in the following fields:

  • Public work on / Promotion of wind energy
  • Educational work regarding wind energy
  • Wind energy networking, within Mecklenburg-Pommerania as well asEurope-wide
  • Support of Environmental protection, esp. regarding wind energy, allover Europe
