Partner characterization

The Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT) is a leading scientific-research entity. The subject of the Institute activities consists of carrying out basic and applied scientific research and also of development works in the field of vehicles, vehicle parts, accessories, fuels, lubricants and other operational fluids as well as energy acquired mainly from renewable resources. Experts employed at the Institute carry out numerous research and development works, related to renewable energy sources, in cooperation with research centres in Poland and Europe and also with manufacturing enterprises. The Institute is also involved in the transfer of scientific knowledge, pilot programmes implementation and implementation of modern technical solutions.
The Institute is involved in implementation of new technologies in renewable power industry in the Polish market. It cooperates with domestic industry, supports activities of investors, independent suppliers of energy from renewable sources as well as of power companies interested in the use of renewable energy. The PIMOT provides assistance to the government administration and to local governments in shaping the strategy and legislation regulating the use of renewable energy sources in Poland. It assists also in preparation of investment plans. It cooperates with partners from the European Union through implementation of joint research-implementation projects.
