Partner characterization
The promotion of science, technology-oriented research and applied development is the main object of the Wasserstofftechnologie-Initiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. (Hydrogen Initiative Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Reg. Ass.). In order to meet this object, projects of hydrogen technology shall be initiated and accompanied for safeguarding and creating jobs. In this connection the Hydrogen Initiative considers their activities to be ranging from identification of possible project ideas up to analyses concerning the creation of outline conditions for the settlement of enterprises. Favourable preconditions for this are provided by cooperation with enterprises, universities, technical colleges and other educational institutions.
The following detailed aims and tasks are existing:
- Development and establishment of a network for a sustained support to the hydrogen technology in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
- Initiation and organization of projects
- Education/further education, public relations work and imparting of information
- Support to tourism by regional and environmentally friendly transport and energy technologies (power and heat generation) based on the hydrogen technology
