The InterregIIIB-Project "Windenergy in the Baltic Sea Region" started in 2003 with 16 partners and Rostock as Lead Partner. It was the beginning of an extensive networking and know-how transfer between the countries of the Baltic Sea region regarding wind energy planning, production and development. Many of the partners have continued to cooperated until these days, exchange information and data and elaborate joint follow-up projects.
